Megan Smith, Vineyard Women Director
megan@vineyardwomen.com
My name is Megan Smith. My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 10 years and have 2 sons, Canaan and Ezra. Before we came to VCC, we traveled the world several times over taking teams of high school and college students to remote villages in Papua New Guinea and out to nomadic regions of Mongolia.
For the past year we have served as Young Adult pastors at Vineyard and have loved every minute of investing in students lives.
In my free time, I enjoy sewing, cooking, taking long car rides with my husband, shopping, entertaining at home, playing with my boys, and watching episodes of Lost and Gilmore Girls.

I am new to Kentucky. After getting married in December, I moved to Lexington where my husband is a law student. I am an RN in the surgical intensive care unit at UK hospital and also am a VLI (Vineyard Leadership Institute) student. I grew up near Lafayette, Indiana. My hobbies include quilting, reading, and writing. I am interested in all things cultural and have traveled to many countries.
My name is Jill Susini and I'm originally from Wisconsin. I am married to a Frenchman and we have two children that are 9 and 6 years old. I first experienced The Vineyard Church in Los Angeles when I was doing a Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in the early 1990's. So when we moved back to Lexington 18 months ago, I was thrilled to find Vineyard Community here in town! My name is Julie Waddle. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio where I met my husband Shawn. We have a wonderful son, Joshua. Lexington has been our home for seventeen years. We have been at VCC for over six years and love the community we have found there. I love spending time with my family and my friends, going out to eat, shopping and just hanging out. Jan LaBonde, Mentorship I grew up on the West Coast (San Diego, Seattle, and Las Vegas) and settled in the Bluegrass of Kentucky 15 years ago and love it! I am married to Christian and we have two kids, Quinn and Darien, who attend middle and high school. I am an art gallery director at Transylvania University and love the art and the artists I get to work with daily. I have attended Vineyard Community Church since 2008 and I appreciate the fact that no matter who you are, what you do, or what you believe, you will be loved at Vineyard.

I have lived in several cities in France but more recently my husband's job has moved us between Lexington and France. It has been an enriching experience! I have learned to lean on the Lord every step of the journey.
My favorite hobbies are running, reading, cooking, and cinema. I also love to travel and we try to visit new places every year!

John and I have been happily married for 7 years and attending the Vineyard for 4 of them. We adopted our son, Will, from China in the summer of 2008. Before staying at home with him, I was a kindergarten and first grade teacher. You can often find me doing photography, scrapbooking, and quilting. I am excited about seeing God work through the Moms and Creative Connections Ministries!

I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and have been married to Mark for almost 30 years. We have two children, Erin and Trent, and one grandchild Makayla. I came to a personal faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 20. Since that time I have been involved in leadership in the church including the position of elder. My real passion is working with younger women in a mentorship capacity and helping them with discipleship and the everyday issues of life. I have training in both Freedom in Christ and Called to Obedience discipleship programs.

I'm a native of Lexington, and a graduate of Bryan Station High School and Eastern Kentucky University. I’ve taught elementary school for fourteen years and presently teach kindergarten here in Fayette County. My husband, Kevin, and I have been married an adventurous and loving twenty years. We have three fabulous children; our oldest (Lauren) is a student at Eastern Kentucky University, our middle son (Cameron) is a student at Bryan Station High School and our youngest son (Chapi) is a student at Bryan Station Middle School. We have a Beagle named Daisy that we love dearly. I lead a very busy life, but love making time for what I enjoy: spending time with my family, going on dates with my husband, relaxing at home watching movies, and reading. I’m a crazy Kentucky Wildcats’ fan. Finally, I have to say that I LOVE my church. I would attend the Vineyard even if my husband wasn’t the pastor!

Hi! My name is Diana and I have been in Lexington since 1990. I grew up near Erie, PA, so yes, I am a Steeler's fan. Jimmy and I have been married nearly 15 years and have the awesome privilege of being a blended family. We have four children, Matt, Jordan, Adam and Nikki. Just recently we became empty nesters, Jimmy loves it... I really miss my little girl!
I am a full time realtor, property manager and when possible we flip houses. I also have my own Arbonne business. My favorite things are eating steak that Jimmy has fixed on the grill, playing golf and riding our bikes together. We have been a part of the Vineyard since day one and it is amazing to see what God is doing!!
Dee Acton, Mentorship
Hi! You can call me Dee and I'm also native in Lexington. I became a Christian in July 2001 but didn't become a Christ-follower until I started EKU in the fall of 2002. I got my BBA in Accounting at EKU but was so involved with Campus Crusade for Christ I often said, "School is getting in the way of ministry!" I led a couple of bible studies and was a spiritual mentor with Campus Crusade. The experience only increased my passion of people walking “shoulder-to-shoulder” in a mentor relationship. After graduating in July 2006, I worked Vineyard Lexington as the Administrator (and a hundred other titles: shopper, reality checker, iron fist—“No Kevin, we can’t get 500 magnets shipped from India with our logo in 30 hours). I met my husband at Vineyard and six months later we were married. In addition to our three teenage boys, we had our first girl, born December 2008. It’s been whirlwind!
